(More customer reviews)I had looked through a few covers for my Droid X after purchasing a two piece hard cover for it. The original cover I had on it was junk and I had spent $20 on it. It has let dirt inside the phone which lead to scratches and dings. The case had never been off the phone since I purchased it but it managed to ruin the outside of my phone. I was looking for a replacement. Something a lot slimmer and one piece so my phone wasn't making noise while using it as well as keeping things from going inside. I came across this one and the price was great! $3 for a cute case can't be beat.
The case fits decent on my phone. It's slim. The sides aren't overly tight so I am a bit worried about dust or dirt slipping inside. The side buttons are a little hard to press but it's not big deal. It has a nice, non slip feel to it compared to the hard plastic case. It's a good case BUT there are a couple of things not right with it.
First of all, the case in the image is a lot brighter than the one I received. In the picture, you can clearly see the argyle print on the phone and when I put this one on my phone, it just looked like a dark grey cover. There is a spot on the right side of it where it looks like that's where it has been cut from, and it's slightly jagged and uncomfortable gliding my thumb acrossed it while using the phone. And the biggest thing is I actually didn't even receive the case in picture. The one in the picture shows two small holes in the back of the phone that surround the speaker and microphone. The case I got had a large, unevenly placed square that left too much space open in the back of the phone. Not extremely happy about this, as I was expecting to get what I saw pictured. I purchased this specific item just for that...

Contacted seller about this and waiting for a reply in hopes I can get the case I paid for and not some random one.
** Edit for replacement case: I contacted seller about the original case I received and they promptly emailed me back to informed me the manufacturer had changed the look of the case, so the smoke argyle case pictured has the wide open back. Seller mentioned the colors they did have to match item pictured. I replaced it with a clear argyle case, which I received today (a little over 2 weeks after initial purchase), and I am completely happy! Not only does the argyle stand out in the clear version (not to mention a slight rainbow effect, which is kind of nice looking), but it seems to fit a bit better and the holes in back are cut exactly to the phones make. Thanks!!**
