This inexpensive case which consists of two hard plastic shells that snap together sort of "explodes" into the two shell pieces at impact which absorbs the force and saves my phone and has held up for six months of abuse! The unusual coating smells strongly of spraypaint and I wouldn't be surprised if it contains toxins like lead (red and made in China), but for the price I'd be surprised if it didn't. I've also shockingly gotten compliments on how nice it looks.
