Here is what I wanted in a case:
- Hard shell. I did not want silicone due to the lint that collects.
- Minimal bulk and weight
- Sleek
- Full Protection for the camera lens
The SeiDio Innocase II case came very close to meeting all of these needs, but it exposed the camera lens too much. Granted, the phone does not rest on the lens when in the Seidio case. I felt the opening around the lens was just too large.
I used the "For Luxmo HTC EVO 4G Rubberized Hard Case Cover ORANGE" for quite some time. I loved the orange color and felt this case was perfect for protection. It made the phone feel large in my hand. The coating was quite nice, as it was slip-proof in hand.
The Otterboxes just made the phone too large.
Other kinds of cases that I have tried include the Naztech "Skinnies", CrazyOnDigital, Amzer TPU Hybrids (honorable mention), Gizmo Dorks, and the Perfect Fit.
This Case-Mate case meets all of my needs. Its greatest feature is the raised circle around the camera lens. It full envelopes the lens and recesses it for protection. This case is super thin and super lightweight.
Dare I say...its the perfect case.
