(More customer reviews)Before you read, it is important to know that I tend to be very particular and picky about details. With that, this case gets all the details right. This is my third case for my HTC EVO 4g, and it's the best yet.
First, the case isn't nearly as flexible as I had thought it was going to be. I had been looking at a couple of friends' cases made from the same TPU material and their cases seemed quite flimsy with little to no "real" protection against drops, falls, etc. I'm pleased to say that this case has a lot more support and stiffness than expected, which gives it that "hard" case protection. I've had other "hard" cases that often felt like they didn't quite fit the phone as well as it probably should, but the TPU material allows the case to fit the phone nice and snug.
Second, the design is quite nice. I was tired of all of the solid color options and so the "square" or "hexagonal" pattern on the back is very appealing to the eye, doesn't cover up the HTC or Sprint logos, and sets it apart from other cases. I also liked how the case has individual holes for each of the four features on the back of the phone, unlike other TPU cases.
Third, I was kind of disappointed at first to find that the volume and power buttons were covered, as this usually makes it difficult to push the buttons (so frustrating!!). I was pleased to find that all of the buttons are easy to press and feels almost as though the buttons aren't covered at all.
Lastly, the case itself is quite slick. I happen to like this because it allows me to easily slip the phone into my pocked without getting stuck and having to force it down. I also find that the phone slides out easily when you want it. I've had cases made of the "jelly" material that get stuck on fabric (and attracts EVERYTHING) and makes it nearly impossible to slide in or out of your pocket. Hard cases usually slide in or out fairly easily, but none as well as this case. Note: It's not too slippery--it won't just slide out on its own!
Wow! This was extremely long, my apologies. I guess if you are as picky as I am when it comes to quality accessories and cases, this review should (hopefully) be helpful. Overall, nice look, fits well, and protected adequately. Although, if you are prone to dropping things a different case with more protection might be a better choice! ;)
