It is the best of both worlds, it is a hard case wrapped in a rubber case, and it comes with a built in screen and keypad protector. That being said, I have had to take the case off and put it back on for one reason or another a few times. After just 2-3 times of doing this, the rubber has stretched out and doesn't stay hooked around the hard case as well anymore. I had to have this case, this is the only one that would fully protect my phone in the work environment I work in, but I imagine I will still have to replace it once or twice a year, and at 25.00 bucks a pop that is rough.
