(More customer reviews)I need a case that will protect the whole phone (including screen), not just the back and sides. When I toss the phone in my pocket, there are keys and other dangerous objects there, too! However, I don't want a dorky-looking plastic armor case, nor something where the phone will stop ringing by the time I can open up the case.
Piel Frama cases are pricey, but fit the bill. High-quality black leather, lightly padded with a tough molded plastic inner layer, provides a sleek yet protective case for my Evo. This puppy won't get you kicked out of swanky restaurants due to dorkiness, and might even persuade the bouncer at a hot nightclub to let you in! The magnetic clasp is just strong enough to keep the case buttoned up when the phone isn't in use, but a quick tug and flip, and the whole front of the phone is now exposed for use. Of course, the case has proper cutouts on the back for the camera/LEDs, on the side for volume up.down, on the bottom for mic/power/data/HDMI (covered by magnetic flap), and on top for earphones.
